Tim provides fascinating insights into the Padres and their 2024 season that saw them overcome large roster and coaching changes to eventually push the eventual World Series Champions to the LA Dodgers to a fifth game in the NL Divisional Series.

Joining Geoff Miller is Josh Elander, the Associate Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Tennessee Volunteers winners of the College World Series this year.
Josh discusses the mental side of coaching hitters and how he has helped 18 players be selected in the top seven rounds of the MLB draft in the last five years. 
A former player in his own right, Elander was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the sixth round of the 2012 MLB Draft and spent parts of four years in the Braves and Arizona Diamondbacks minor league systems.
During his seven seasons on staff, the Volunteers have made five NCAA Tournament appearances (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), three trips to the College World Series (2021, 2023, 2024) and captured the program's first national championship (2024)

Steve Smith is a baseball coach with an incredible story to tell. 
He spent 20 years as Head Coach of the Baylor Bears, guiding them to three conference titles and an appearance at the 2005 College World Series.
He was also head coach of the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles for two seasons before taking on a role as pitching coach with the Detroit Tigers
Smith served stints as an assistant at Mississippi State and Santa Clara and is now coaching at McGregor High School in Texas.

James Ramsey is Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets' Associate Head Baseball Coach.
James joins Geoff Miller to discuss the recently completed 2024 College World Series and detail the challenges that coaches face in helping players to develop while also chasing success.
