A talented hitter with a trip to the 2004 Olympics already in his back pocket, Bobby Kingsbury entered 2005 looking to make the leap from High A to the MLB. 

His life-long dream of becoming a Major Leaguer was in his sight and then injury struck.

By the end of 2007 he was retired.
